Classic matchwood side carriages to a freelance design. Found all around the world on narrow gauge railways. A wealth of detail both outside and inside, hand rails, T-shaped door handles, hinge detail, seating, roof and side vents, running boards, corridor ends, etc. See Details Matter
The carriage sides have three layers of laserply for extra detail and relief. In the centre is a structural core with separate windows to allow for easy painting and to allow opening. Covered externally and internally with surface layers, with lots of plank and opening detail. The main difference between the roof and corridors versions apart from the ends is the seating layout. Corridors have single seats with single luggage racks above where as the roofed carriages have bench seats with full width luggage racks. All the closed carriages have compartments, with the corridor carriages having openings. Therefore the interior can be configured with and without compartments and luggage racks and the roof can easily be made removable.
32 mm or 45 mm gauge, kit includes everything but paint and glue.
The 2ft 2 inch highly detailed bogie version uses sealed bearing for long lasting maintenance free running.
Length 225 mm over couplings, 110 mm wide, 142 mm height
