A narrow gauge version of the original GWR open fish wagons which were designed to be attached to the rear of passenger trains to provide a fast freight delivery service. They are unusual in having a central guards compartment in the middle of the wagon.

Originally they were constructed to broad gauge then they were re-gauged to standard when the GWR converted its track. Later in on they lost the central guards compartment and became purely open wagons.
The model contains all of the aspects of the original, The doors can be made to open, the ironwork is separate to provide relief and for ease of painting. The model comes with the highly detailed 3 ft Plateway Models bogies incorporating real sealed bearing races for smooth running and low maintenance as well as pitch and roll compensation.
Kit contains everything but glue and paint.
